Esna is a researcher at Shadow.
Appearance
Esna is a diminutive girl with her blond hair tied into twin ponytails and wearing red glasses over her blue eyes. She is usually seen wearing a lab coat over her clothes.
Personality
Esna presents herself as cheerful around the Shadow members, and especially so in front of Gang Daehyeop whom she is fond of. When around Johnson however, she turns crabby and is prone to refer to her father by name while chiding him for his antics.
History
Already possessing a talent for research and development at a young age, Esna followed Johnson and moved from the United States to South Korea when he was recruited by Shadow.

Following the Nox attack on the S International building, Esna joined Johnson with digging Daehyeop out of the rubble, and at Daehyeop’s request transported him to the hideout of Yun Taesu, where she became fascinated with him as he walked through Baek Yeonwoo’s police barricade.
Esna was present at Shadow’s opening ceremony headed by Sin Yunseong, after which she continued to help make improvements on Shadow’s gear. When Eric Sin invited his colleagues to a house party, Esna prepared gifts in hopes of appealing to Daehyeop, only to find out that he wasn’t attending because he was spending a night with Violet Ella Wong Perez, prompting her to give him a slap on the face the following day.
During the evacuation from the secret Shadow headquarters in the midst of Nine Dragons’ attack, Esna helped hold the entrance to the escape route uncovered by Park Jinoh as the other employees escaped, and when the Han River got blown into the tunnel she was barely saved from the torrent by Johnson. In the days since she stayed at the hospital beside her father.

Esna possesses a keen mind for invention of gadgets, and is involved in the development of many devices and equipment used by Shadow.
Her limited knowledge of Korean however means that she has to communicate with her colleagues through speech-to-text devices that translate between Korean and English.
