Summary
Aiming to win an autographed figurine of Jegal Taek, Yun Taesu waits at the quiz hall as the announcer tries to come up with a way to resolve the issue of more participants than expected remaining after the initial round of quizzes. Soon afterwards Gang Daehyeop, who had used the beginners guide to the G.O.H. Tournament that Yun Taesu had discarded earlier on in order to pass the quizzes, agrees with the announcer’s suggestion of determining the winner with rock paper scissors, spurring other participants to fall in with the idea. With the participants arranged against others in a tournament style, Gang Daehyeop and Yun Taesu go on a roll winning prizes repeatedly through the use of their superior perceptiveness and reflexes. Yet as his inventory of figurines grows, Gang Daehyeop notices there aren’t any restaurant coupons left and thinks that Yun Taesu had won them all. Just as Yun Taesu wins Jegal Taek’s figurine, the boy he had beaten to get it begins crying, prompting the announcer to ask Yun Taesu trade the figurine for another prize. Flatly refusing, Yun Taesu is about to start when Gang Daehyeop resolves the issue by giving the boy a figurine of Park Ilpyo.
Gang Daehyeop then challenges Yun Taesu to a match in an attempt to win the restaurant coupons from him while betting the tournament ticket he had got. Accepting because Gang Daehyeop has a high regard for Jegal Taek’s prowess, Yun Taesu introduces himself as Hong Gildong. In a match as breathtaking as the fighting tournament, Gang Daehyeop and Yun Taesu draw for several rounds, before Yan Taesu who was responding a fraction of a second faster gets exasperated by Gang Daehyeop’s exaggerated fervour and quits. As Yun Taesu turns to go, Gang Daehyeop returns him the replica eye mask of Jin Mori that he had dropped, and after the subsequent conversation regarding Jegal Taek during which Gang Daehyeop assesses Jegal Taek from a purely martial standpoint, Yun Taesu leaves behind the restaurant coupons.
